Girl Scout Council of Tropical Florida to Host FREE Campfire Party at Camp Choee, FUN ACTIVITIES FOR THE ENTIRE FAMILY

Girl Scout Council of Tropical Florida will host a Campfire Party on Friday, February 25, 2011, from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Camp Choee located in 11347 SW 160th Street, Miami. The event is free and open to girls ages 5 through 17 and parents who want to learn about Girl Scouting. Guest will enjoy an evening of s’mores, songs, and fun activities for the entire family.

“We welcome all girls with their family to join us during this evening as we showcase what Girl Scouting can offer,” said Maria D. Tejera, Chief Executive Officer. “Girl Scout programs offer a great experience that builds self-esteem and confidence.”

Girl Scouts is open to all girls ages 5 – 17 and volunteer opportunities are available to adults 18+, pending background checks. Help your daughter learn to believe in herself, make long-lasting friendship, recognize her strengths and see a future of exciting possibilities. Through a number of enriching experiences, such as extraordinary field trips, sports skill-building clinics, community service projects, cultural exchanges, and environmental stewardships, girls grow courageous and strong.
