GAVIN DEGRAW TO HEADLINE CAPITAL ONE HALFTIME SHOW DURING 2019 CAPITAL ONE ORANGE BOWL

GAVIN DEGRAWContinuing the tradition of college football’s most iconic halftime show, multi-platinum artist Gavin DeGraw will headline the Capital One Halftime Show during the 2019 Capital One Orange Bowl on December 30th at Hard Rock Stadium. DeGraw joins an iconic group of Orange Bowl halftime acts such as Flo Rida, DNCE, John Fogerty, Dierks Bentley, Jake Owen and Andy Grammer.
DeGraw will also perform prior to kick-off at the Capital One Orange Bowl Fan Fest, which is a free event in the parking lot at Hard Rock Stadium for all fans with a ticket to the Capital One Orange Bowl. Guests can enjoy activities for fans of all ages and food and beverage while enjoying the live performance before the game.
Gavin DeGraw first broke through with the 2003 release of his debut album, Chariot, which sold over 1 million copies, earned platinum certification, and yielded three hit singles: “I Don’t Want To Be,” “Follow Through,” and the title-track, “Chariot.”
Gavin’s self-titled second album debuted at No. 1 on the digital sales chart and at No. 7 on Billboard’s Top 200 album chart in 2008, earning Gavin his first Top 10 album. It spawned the hit singles “In Love With A Girl,” which Billboard dubbed “a rocking homerun,” and the gold-certified “We Belong Together.”

In 2013, DeGraw released his fourth studio album, Make A Move, which included the hit song “Best I Ever Had” and garnered rave reviews from such publications as Billboard, People and Entertainment Weekly amongst many others. In addition, Gavin was nominated for his first Grammy for “We Both Know.”Gavin released his fifth studio album Something Worth Saving in September 2016 featuring singles “She Sets the City On Fire” and “Making Love with The Radio On.”

Performing the national anthem this year is Reina Ozbay, a 10-year-old fifth-grader from Parkland, Florida. Reina is an award-winning, classically trained soprano who sings opera, pop and musical theatre. She is the featured national anthem singer in a Gray Television spot airing nationwide and was recently heard at Hard Rock Stadium opening a Miami Dolphins game. Reina made her professional stage debut at the age of seven at South Florida’s Stage Door Theatre and can currently be seen as Abigail in “The Chosen,” the number one crowd-funded film/TV project in history. When not singing or acting, Reina likes to swim, bike and play tennis.
For the 15th consecutive year, ACT Productions (www.actproductions.com) has coordinated the talent and will be producing the entertainment elements of pregame and halftime.
