Women Helping Women’s first annual cocktail networking event designed to support women in South Florida who are struggling financially and emotionally as a result of today’s economy will benefit Women in Distress, a nationally accredited state-certified domestic violence center in Broward County that provides victims with safe shelter and crisis intervention.

Gabriela Rosenthal, a specialist with the Center for Medical Weight Loss, will serve as one of the five key note speakers and share her personal success story as a mother of four who recently lost more than 120 pounds. Rosenthal hopes to motivate other women on overcoming significant life challenges in an effort to prosper both emotionally and financially.

Open to the public, the networking cocktail mixer will benefit Women in Distress, a nationally accredited, state-certified domestic violence center in Broward County, that provides victims with safe shelter and crisis intervention
