FULL Fashion Exchange – the biannual social networking affair for stylish women with curves will spotlight a Double Digits Plus Model Search for its Summer edition on Sunday, June 26, 2011 from 4- 7:30 pm at the newly renovated Doubletree by Hilton ( Miami Mart) Hotel located at 711 NW 72nd Avenue in Miami. The event empowers larger women to embrace their size and personal style with health consciousness.
Aspiring Plus models -sizes 10 and up will have a deadline of Friday, June 17,2011 to call and register for the competition. They will receive an invaluable, Model mini- workshop on Saturday, June 18, 2011 to help prepare for the competition conducted by one of South Florida’s top runway model, Jeannie St Louis and accomplished Fashion Show Producer/Choreographer, Charlene Meriedy. Interested models – ages 18 to 40 – should call (305) 624-5348. They will compete in two fashion categories. A Winner will receive cash and prizes valued over $1000.00 from Sponsors, Partners, and Vendors and will be the first official fresh face for the new concept brand for Plus size model productions and promotional services – Double Digits Plus to launch in the Fall 2011.
Attendees will have a chance to vote on their favorite model in the Double Digits Plus competition as well as sip, shop and mingle around a stunning pool, and view a live Photo shoot by Fashion photographer, James Eagles at pool side. “Tropical Curves”, the theme for this HOT Summer edition, offers a relaxing, stylish evening with music mastered by DJ Stan and hosted by event producer, Charlene Meriedy.
Attendees will enjoy tropical music and sample products such as SUNGLASS HUT , ZICO, POP Chips andUNYQUE FRUIT CREATIONS that make it easier and healthier to beat the summer heat.
Guests will stroll inside the beautiful Impressions Restaurant where they will experience quality showcases of Designer Plus-size fashions, shop a variety of vendors providing beauty, style, and healthy solutions to enhance their lifestyle and enjoy complimentary lite bites by EMANS Catering, healthy natural treats, fabulous door prizes and goodie bags that would pamper and impress any full-figured DIVA .
