This Father’s Day, the Museum of Graffiti is giving dads a reason to get out of the house, and it won’t cost them a cent. The world’s first museum devoted to graffiti art is turning its Art of Fútbol exhibition into an afternoon of play, just as soccer fever takes hold of Miami this summer.
On Sunday, June 21, from 3 to 6 p.m., the Museum hosts a friendly foosball faceoff inside the exhibition. The first 100 dads through the door take home a limited-edition miniature soccer ball designed by Miami street artist ATOMIK, and guests 21 and over can enjoy a complimentary Modelo bar while they play.
The setting is the real draw. The Museum has given over an entire building to the Art of Fútbol experience, including turf underfoot, artist-painted foosball tables, and a salon-style wall of work by a deep bench of local talent, including Tierra Armstrong, Nico, ABSTRK, Entes, Jel Martinez, and Rasterms. It is the rare Father’s Day outing where dad can chase a little game-day glory while the whole family takes in the work of the artists who built the room.
