The Night of Ideas was born in France. Now, Books & Books is partnering with the Consulate General of France, Letra Urbana, France Florida Foundation for the Arts, Miami Book Fair and the Coral Gables Art Cinema to present a Night of Ideas in Miami!
The goal of this free, one-night only marathon of programming is to celebrate the stream of ideas between countries, cultures, topics and generations. This year’s theme BEING ALIVE – ÊTRE VIVANT – ESTAR VIVOS will be explored by a series of ongoing talks and panel discussions with philosophers, authors and artists at Books & Books in Coral Gables starting at 5pm and going through 9pm — culminating with a FREE “Sneak Preview” of France’s entry into the Academy Awards, Les Miserables at 9pm at the Coral Gables Art Cinema. Please join us and bring your best ideas to the Night of Ideas!
