FORTE DEI MARMI, A RESTAURANT AND ARTS CLUB, OPENS ITS DOORS IN SOUTH BEACH, MIAMI

Forte Dei Marmi, the much anticipated property located at 150 Ocean Drive in Miami will open its doors this week. Under the direction of two Michelin-starred chef Antonio Mellino and his son Raffaele, the ground floor 120 seat dining room will offer a cuisine rooted in Italian fine dining and slow food culture. The menu will present the highest quality in fresh, organic, farm-raised and locally-produced food, featuring house-made pastas and wild-caught seafood and fish in addition to a wine and cocktail program that focuses on organic and biodynamic offerings. Chef Mellino is the star chef behind the world famous Quattro Passi restaurant on Italy’s Amalfi Coast. This will be his first restaurant in the United States

Housed in a 1938 Mediterranean-revival building renovated by Miami-based architect Chad Oppenheim, Forte Dei Marmi is located at the southern tip of South Beach. The luxurious dual-level villa is inspired by the Tuscan seaside, with gardens by Swiss designer Enzo Enea, and interiors by Milan-based designer Henry Timi, with hand-crafted materials from Italy.

A hybrid cultural hub with a restaurant on the ground floor and an Arts Club and lounge on the second floor, Forte Dei Marmi introduces a new concept to the Miami dining scene where food is followed by curated music and organic cocktails, as well as a sophisticated and diverse line up of performances, talks, and concerts among other art, design, music, and food experiences.
