Seminole Casino Hollywood announced there are three remaining dates for the 2012 High Heels Poker Tour (HHPT) Red Stiletto Series “$500 Free Roll” Texas Hold em’ tournament: Saturday, April 29, Saturday July 14, and Saturday, September 8, all at 1 p.m. The first event was held there on Feb. 25.
On-site registration begins at 8 a.m. on the day of each event. To participate, players must obtain a free Seminole Casinos “Wild Card” at the Player’s Club. The Seminole Casino Hollywood poker room is now non-smoking designated.
Here’s how it works:
Each player gets 1,000 free chip units in tournament chips before the start and has the option of adding another 1,000 chips to their stack by electing to do the $10 dealer add-on.
For a $20 chip-in they can add 3,000 more to their starting stack. If a player gets knocked out during the first hour he may re-enter the tournament with 3,000 units in chips for an additional $20. At the end of the first hour there is a final $20, 3,000 chip-up.
All these are optional and the funds from the re-entries and the second chip-up are added to the prize pool. The funds from the first chip-up are divided between the HHTP and Seminole Casino Hollywood for administrative fees. A trophy in addition to cash is awarded each event winner and everyone receives promotional gifts from sponsors.
