To celebrate summer, Fontainebleau Miami Beach invites first-time foodies and seasoned gourmands alike to satisfy their sense of culinary curiosity with the sweet flavors of summer. For the month of July, the resort’s three highly-acclaimed signature restaurants, Gotham Steak, Scarpetta and Hakkasan, are offering new $54 prix-fixe dinner menus redolent of the flavors and colors of the summer season.  Each restaurant is offering four enticing menus for each week in July, offering guests a diverse selection of culinary experiences to satisfy every palate. In addition, the iconic resort is providing discounted valet parking to all restaurant patrons.  Reservations are now being accepted and recommended. 

Gotham Steak – Alfred Portale, chef and owner of perennial New York City favorite Gotham Bar & Grill, creates a modern American steakhouse with a focus on quality, consistency, and artful presentation.  Gotham Steak combines classic steakhouse elements with fresh seafood, specialty meats, and an impressive 8,000 bottle wine tower.  Gotham Steak’s seasonal menus include Maine Lobster Bisque, Yellow Fin Tuna Tartare, Scottish Salmon with Baby Artichoke Barigoule, Basil Pesto and Heirloom Tomatoes, Shrimp and Summer corn Risotto, Grilled Prime New York Strip Loin, Grilled Swordfish Steak, Miso Marinated Black Cod, and a delectable selection of desserts. 

Hakkasan Hakkasan made its U.S. debut at Fontainebleau Miami Beach in April 2009 and pays homage to traditional Cantonese fare complimented by a diverse menu of New World wines and sake. The special summer menu highlights Smoked Ribs Salad, Dim Sum Platter, Sweet & Sour Pork, Black Pepper Rib-Eye Beef, Seafood Claypot in Sha Cha Sauce, Braised Tofu Aubergine Claypot in Black Bean Sauce and Stir-Fry Lotus Root, Asparagus & Lily Bulb in Black Pepper. Desserts include Coconut Tapioca with Mango & Passion Emultion, and Coconut Strusel & White Chocolate Sorbet. 

Scarpetta – Created by acclaimed New York celebrity chef Scott Conant, Scarpetta features an innovative menu inspired by Italy’s cucina rustica that focuses on a clean crisp flavors and farm-fresh ingredients.  Conant strikes a perfect balance between simplicity and sophistication with dishes such as Tuna ‘Susci’ with Marinated Vegetables & Preserved Truffles, Tomato Gazpacho with Yellow Fin Tuna, Cucumber & Oregano, Mediterranean Branzino with Zucchini, Spring Garlic & Lobster Fricassee, Braised Short Ribs of Beef, Alaskan Halibut with Baccalà Mantecato, White Asparagus & Smoked Paprika, Spice Roasted Chicken with Polenta, Morel Mushrooms & English Peas, and East Coast Monk Fish with Garden Sorrel, Green Chickpeas & Saffron Broth. The special summer menus also feature Chef Conant’s signature dishes Creamy Polenta with Fricassee of Truffled Mushrooms and Spaghetti with Tomato & Basil. The decadent dessert menu includes Amedei Chocolate Cake and Mocha Swirl Cheesecake.
