In November 2020, Florida Grand Opera presented a SongFest recital highlighting Victor Herbert’s operetta repertoire. Victor Herbert was arguably the most important theatrical composer of the early 20th century. He transformed traditional short and humorous operas into his own Americanized musical comedies.
