Florida Freedom Clinch Thrilling Walk-Off Win Against Oklahoma Wildcatters at PBR Freedom Days

The Florida Freedom secured a dramatic walk-off victory against the Oklahoma Wildcatters in Saturday night’s PBR (Professional Bull Riders) Camping World Team Series match at Amerant Bank Arena. Generational talent John Crimber sealed the win with an impressive ride on Bambino, earning 86.5 points and lifting Florida to an 86.5-85.75 triumph.

The matchup saw a slow start, with bulls dominating early rides. Oklahoma struck first as Clay Guiton posted an 85.75-point score in the fourth frame. With the Freedom struggling to convert, it seemed Oklahoma was on track for victory until Josh Frost bucked off, allowing Florida a chance for a comeback.

As the crowd erupted, Crimber triumphed over Bambino, pushing the Freedom’s season record to 2-4 and elevating them from No. 10 to No. 8 in league standings. The Wildcatters fell to 4-3, dropping from No. 2 to No. 3 as they prepare for a contest against the unbeaten Carolina Cowboys.

In other action Saturday, the Austin Gamblers and Missouri Thunder also recorded thrilling come-from-behind victories. The Gamblers faced off against the Texas Rattlers, with Kaique Pacheco putting Austin ahead after a strong second round. Despite a response from Texas’ Marcelo Procopio Pereira, the Gamblers maintained their lead and secured an 84.5-point win after two-time PBR Teams MVP Jose Vitor Leme delivered an 86.75-point ride on Cooter Brown.

Meanwhile, the Missouri Thunder bested the Nashville Stampede, winning 83.75-0 as Paulo Eduardo Rossetto clinched the game with a solid ride on Free Willy. This victory improved Missouri to 3-4 for the season and moved them from No. 8 to No. 7 in the standings.

The Arizona Ridge Riders rebounded from a previous loss, narrowly defeating the New York Mavericks 175.5-171.25, thanks to key contributions from Bruno Carvalho and Keyshawn Whitehorse. Arizona improved to 4-3 this season, rising to No. 2 in the league, while New York dropped to 2-5 and fell to No. 10.

The night concluded with the Shootout Round, where Crimber, riding high, delivered an impressive 89-point performance atop Whiplash, claiming victory for the Florida Freedom in this special event.
