The Florida Freedom faced off in a competitive weekend at the PBR Camping World Team Series event, finishing with a 1-1 record after taking down the Oklahoma Wildcatters.
The Freedom kicked off their weekend with a bye on Friday night during the PBR Outlaw Days competition. They returned to action Saturday at T-Mobile Center against the Texas Rattlers, where despite strong rides from Eric Henrique Domingos and John Crimber, they fell short, losing 176.25 to 352.
Looking to bounce back, the Freedom faced the Oklahoma Wildcatters on Sunday. Demonstrating remarkable resilience, Florida secured a convincing victory with a score of 256.75 to 78.25. Domingos, Crimber, and Alex Cerqueira each contributed to the success, with Crimber’s standout performance featuring an 89.5-point ride on Red River, which not only clinched the win but also propelled him back to the top of the MVP standings, leading Jose Vitor Leme by 60 points.
With this split, the Florida Freedom’s season record now stands at 9-9, placing them fourth in the league rankings.
