FCAAC not only cares about its patients and staff, but also strongly believes in giving back to the community. Throughout April and May FCAAC launched the “Dare 2 Care Campaign.”  Staff and patients at their 18 centers donated money by entering a $500 raffle to raise funds and awareness for CHC. CHC is an organization that helps individuals with developmental disabilities.  The winner of the raffle was Christian Sivori from Sunny Isles.

FCAAC staff and patients also bought recycled paper cards made by CHC members. A video played in each center showing how CHC members made the cards, which made patients aware and eager to contribute. Plus, two CHC members visited each of the 18 offices.Dr. Pacin after drawing Raffle winnerDr. Pacin after drawing Raffle winner

“Presenting the check was very heartwarming.  Looking around at all those faces made me feel good inside.  As I said to all present, “let’s do it again next year,” said Dr. Pacin.

Spread the love!
