Florida Cajun-Zydeco Festival Set for Nov. 9 – 11 at Seminole Paradise at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino

Bring your appetite and dancing shoes to this year’s Florida Cajun-Zydeco Festival to be held November 9 – 11, 2012 at Seminole Paradise at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino. Enjoy Cajun cooking galore with authentic Louisiana favorites such as hot ‘n’ spicy boiled crawfish, jambalaya, andouille sausage, po’ boys and étouffée prepared and served by local restaurants and chefs.

This year, festival organizers, in conjunction with the Office of the Lieutenant Governor of the State of Louisiana, are pleased to present celebrity Chef Patrick Mould who will demonstrate the art of Creole cuisine.  Chef Mould is an educator, TV personality, cookbook author and culinary innovator who has contributed much to the Southwest Louisiana’s culinary landscape. With over 22 years of experience, Chef Mould is no stranger behind a stove and has been at the forefront of Cajun and Creole Cuisine. He regularly hosts Cooking Up A Good Life, a show that features the best in food, music, art and culture that Louisiana has to offer.

Live music will be continuous on two stages with authentic Cajun and Zydeco performers and ample dancing space will be available on a giant wooden dance floor. Featured performers include Geno Delafose, C’est Bon Cajun Dance Band, The Savoy Family Band, Feufollet, Curley Taylor & Zydeco Trouble, Lisa Haley & Zydecats and Chubby Carrier & Bayou Swamp Band.

A Kid’s Kingdom and arts and crafts vendors will provide additional colorful activities throughout the festival.
