FIGURE DRAWING CLASSES AT MOCA, NORTH MIAMI

July 6, 13, 20 and 27

Rendering the human figure in three-dimensions is one of the fundamental skills of artistic practice.   The Museum of Contemporary Art in North Miami is offering Figure Drawing for Adults, a four-part series on life drawing on Wednesday evenings in July.

Under the guidance of MOCA Curator of Education Lark Keeler, participants will explore different techniques in addressing proportion, movement, texture and shading,  using the medium of their choice.  A live model will be present for each class.  All skill levels are welcome.

Figure Drawing for Adults will be offered July 6, 13, 20 and 27 from 7 to 9 pm.  The four part series is $70 for MOCA members and residents of North Miami and $90 for non-members.  Individual classes are $20 for MOCA members and North Miami residents and $25 for non-members. Materials are not provided.  Registration is available by calling 305-893-6211 or at rsvp@mocanomi.org.

The Museum of Contemporary Art is located at 770 NE 125th Street in North Miami, FL, 33161.
