Fête de la Musique: Make Music Miami

Alliance Francaise, Transit Lounge and beyond – Celebrate the summer solstice Francophone style – with free music!

The party starts at 5 pm at Alliance Francaise (618 SW 8 Street). We’ll have 2 hours of fun-filled Open Mike stage, then at 7 pm the Main Stage: samba from Grupo Embalo, percussion ensemble Venus Rising, world music masters Lanzallamas Monofonica. Plus DJ Pauer, art by Damien B Contemporary Art Center, a chance to win a trip on the goodyear blimp, crepes, wine and more

At 9pm the party continues east on SW 8 Street to Transit Lounge (729 SW 1 Avenue), where a full schedule of music goes late into the night. Vincent Raffard, direct from Paris, and French blues star Nico Wayne Toussaint.
