The 458 Italia continues the Ferrari tradition of putting the thrill into driving as a result of track-driven technology. Powered by a 4.5 liter, direct injection V8 engine, the 8-cylinder, two-seater delivers 0-62 at 3.4 seconds and reaches an unprecedented 202 mph. As with every Ferrari, the car’s exterior styling has been heavily influenced by the requirements for aerodynamic efficiency producing a down force of 140 kg at 124 mph. The 458’s interior, inspired by Formula 1, features a new steering wheel design which incorporates many features and controls as opposed to them being on the dashboard.
