While we’re waiting for the large theaters to reopen Florida Grand Opera has scheduled two series of concerts in a socially-distanced, safe environment. All events will be held in strict accordance with CDC guidelines for social distancing. Masks will be required.
Songfest Series
Florida Grand Opera’s SongFest series contains two concerts, one that highlights the romantic and witty operettas of Victor Herbert (Naughty Marietta, Babes in Toyland, Orange Blossoms), and the other exploring the ever popular genres of 20th & 21st century opera and musical theater. Each SongFest concert will feature members of FGO’s Studio Artist Program

Studio Artist Concert Series
Florida Grand Opera’s Studio Artist Concert Series features three concerts that highlight the incredible talents of this year’s emerging artists in residency. We begin with the FGO Studio Artists First Sing giving you a glimpse of what is in store this season. Next, we present Opera’s Greatest Hits, a program that features opera’s most famous arias by FGO’s up and coming stars. Selections range from Puccini, Bizet, Verdi, Rossini, and much more accompanied by piano. Finally, join us for our annual Holiday Pops Concert, an evening of opera pops and holiday hits. Hear the romance of operatic favorites and the magic of festive holiday music, including a special sing-along with the Studio Artists.
