WHAT: Fairchild’s Spring Plant Sale
WHEN: Saturday and Sunday, April 24 & 25, 2010, 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
WHERE: Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden, 10901 Old Cutler Drive, Coral Gables, FL
WHY: Because Fairchild will be overflowing with treasured plants specially grown at its own nursery including palms, flowering trees, shrubs and vines, herbaceous plants and native plants of South Florida. In addition to Fairchild plants, there will be extensive offerings from local plant societies including dependable favorites and fascinating new discoveries. It’s the only plant sale in South Florida where Fairchild’s knowledgeable staff and plant society enthusiasts will be on hand to offer personalized assistance when making plant selections. Proceeds go toward Fairchild’s continuing programs in education, research, horticulture and conservation.
ADMISSION: $20 adults, $15 seniors, $10 children 6-17 and free to children 5 and under and Fairchild members.
