Event Aims to Raise $500,000 for Underprivileged Youth

Miami’s vibrant spirit will come alive on October 29 when the Louis Hernandez Jr. Foundation For A Bright Future (FABF) hosts “Warmth of Giving: Miami Edition,” an exclusive, invite-only fundraiser. Sponsored by Amerant Bank, the event will take place from 6:00 PM to 9:30 PM at the trendy new French Moroccan restaurant, Habibi by Roman Jones.

Following a successful spring event in New York City, FABF aims to raise $500,000 to support its programs and scholars who empower underprivileged children. Leading the Miami initiative is Christina Stubbs, FABF Regional Chair for South Florida, who emphasizes financial literacy, equality, and opportunity. With her extensive experience as SVP Private Client Group Team Leader at Amerant Bank, Stubbs is committed to unlocking the potential of gifted young individuals in underserved communities.

“We’re thrilled to bring this unforgettable night of giving to our vibrant Magic City of Miami,” says Stubbs. “This event isn’t just about raising funds; it’s about inspiring hope and opening doors for talented young minds who might otherwise go overlooked.”

The evening promises a blend of elegance and generosity, featuring a seated dinner, guest speaker Jason Jackson—Miami HEAT Radio Play By Play/TV Host—and auctions showcasing exclusive Miami Heat memorabilia and more. Attendees are encouraged to embrace an “elevated chic” dress code that captures Miami’s cool vibe.

Tickets are priced at $250 per person, with exclusive sponsorship packages available. Tracey Shaw, Chair of the FABF Events Committee and President of Digital Joy, underscores the significance of community involvement, saying, “By uniting for this cause, we’re not just changing lives; we’re shaping the future of communities.”

As FABF continues its mission to combat systemic challenges faced by underprivileged youth, the Miami event stands as a crucial step toward providing equitable opportunities in education. For more information or sponsorship inquiries, contact FABF at contact@forabrightfuturefoundation.org.
