ESPN, NFL and Miami Dolphins to Host Monday Night Football Chalk Talk October 4 at Sun Life Stadium

ESPN, the NFL and the Miami Dolphins will host a Monday Night Football Chalk Talk luncheon at Sun Life Stadium, Oct. 4, at 12 p.m. in advance of the New England Patriots-Dolphins game at 8:30 p.m. that night.

MNF Chalk Talk details:

Where: Sun Life Stadium – Club Level / Gate C (2269 NW 199th Street Miami Gardens, FL)

Time: 12 – 2 p.m. (Media arrival time: 11:30 a.m.)

Expected Participants/Attendees:

  • Dolphins’ owner Stephen Ross, and ESPN President George Bodenheimer;
  • MNF analysts Mike Tirico and Ron Jaworski will break down the Patriots-Dolphins matchup;
  • MNF reporter Suzy Kolber will host the program with Jorge Sedano, the play-by-play voice for the FIU Golden Panthers football team and current host of the Jorge Sedano show, weekday mornings 6-10 a.m. on ESPN Radio Miami;
  • Alumni players from the Dolphins and Patriots will discuss that night’s game and other NFL topics, including: former Dolphins cornerback Sam Madison, wide receiver OJ McDuffie, and wide receiver Mark Duper; and former Patriots linebacker Willie McGinest and cornerback Ty Law.

The Chalk Talk will include an ESPN RISE Above Award segment where one male and one female high school student-athlete from the Miami area will be honored for overcoming adversity and excelling in their sports and school, while motivating teammates/classmates to excel. Monday’s honorees will include volleyball player Klaudio Maxhari (Cypress Bay High School in Broward County) and soccer player Jenny Hernandez (American Senior High School in Dade County).

The game will be part of the NFL’s breast cancer awareness month initiatives and will feature footballs with pink ribbon decals, on-field pink ribbon stencils, and many other pink items in show of support for the campaign.
