Elvis Costello and the Imposters’ concert scheduled for September 18 at 7 p.m. at Hard Rock Live at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino has been postponed.
“It is with regret and sorrow that Elvis Costello announces that he must delay the start of the next leg of ‘The Spectacular Spinning Songbook Tour’ until the 24th of September in Atlanta. This is due to matters pertaining to the very serious illness of a close family member. All shows prior to the 24th will be postponed,” relayed a spokesperson for Elvis Costello.
The spokesperson further stressed that Mr. Costello’s wife and children were in excellent health but declined to elaborate further hoping that people would understand the desire and need for calm and privacy at this difficult time.
The tour hopes to reschedule the dates as early as possible. Patrons holding tickets who wish not to attend the rescheduled show can receive a refund at the point of purchase.
