DOXA has launched the special edition SUB 300T Sharkhunter Clive Cussler to commemorate the late author and explorer’s 93rd birthday, which he would have celebrated on July 15, 2024. This release is the second tribute in DOXA’s homage to Cussler, known for popularizing diving watches through his adventure novels featuring over 100 million copies sold worldwide. The SUB 300T Sharkhunter features a stainless steel case with an aged patina, a black Sharkhunter dial, and a compass rose marking the four cardinal directions. The watch is water-resistant up to 300 meters, powered by a Swiss automatic movement, and includes both a metal bracelet and a rubber strap.
Only 93 pieces will be available, each individually numbered, with a portion of sales benefiting Cussler’s non-profit organization, NUMA. Dirk Cussler, the author’s son, expressed gratitude to DOXA for honoring his father’s legacy, while CEO Jan Edöcs emphasized the enduring relationship between the brand and the Cussler family.
