Emmy award-winning actress, Doris Roberts starts the holiday fiesta off right on tomorrow’s edition of THE MARTHA STEWART SHOW (Hallmark Channel, 10 AM ET/9 AM C – same day encore airing, 2 PM ET/next day airing, 1 PM ET).  On the special ‘Thanksgiving Show,’ Doris cha-cha’s her way into Martha’s kitchen to explore some innovative ways to put Thanksgiving leftovers to good use, including a spicy dish Leftover Turkey Chili with Cheesy Cornbread. After Doris admits “She’s not a maker, she’s an eater,” Martha will attempt to impart some of her cooking skills while chatting about Doris’ true passion, acting, that has fueled her impressive 50 year long career.  Her latest endeavor “Call Me Mrs. Miracle,” derived from author Debbie Macomber’s book, which according to Doris will be airing on Hallmark Channel “This Saturday, November 27th, we will be playing at 8 o’clock. If you miss that, go to 10 o’clock, if you miss that, go to 12 o’clock.  And then after that, go to bed.”

On Hallmark Channel’s movie Call Me Mrs. Miracle:

MS: (To Author Debbie Macomber) Well how does it feel to see these stories come to life on the screen?

Debbie Macomber: It’s a Miracle!

MS: It’s a miracle! And you have Miss Miracle right here.

DR: Mrs. Miracle, last year we came in number two in the whole year of 2009 for the Hallmark Channel.

MS: Oh how fantastic!

DR: So this year, we hope to become one.

MS: Oh you do indeed.

DR: This Saturday the 27th, we will be playing at 8 o’clock. If you miss that, go to 10 o’clock, if you miss that, go to 12 o’clock.  And then after that, go to bed.

On Doris being an eater, not a maker:

MS: Now what do you like to make on Thanksgiving?

DR: I like to eat.

MS: Okay, she’s not a maker, she’s an eater.

DR: Well I used to be a good cook, but you know, as the house got empty and I lived all by myself, I thought nope.

MS: How many kids did you have?

DR: Just one, but that was enough honey!

On Martha and Doris airing on Hallmark Channel:

MS: That’s why we’re all on the Hallmark Channel.

DR: That’s right.

MS: Because it’s traditional, and its family oriented. And it’s good.

DR: Yes, that’s terrific.

MS: and there’s none of that C-R-A-P.

DR: No!

On Doris’ TV Career:

MS: So you’re working a lot Doris?

DR: Yes I am!

MS: Oh my gosh, that’s so wonderful. And your career on TV has spanned how long, dare you say?

DR: Over fifty years.

MS: Isn’t that incredible!
