DOMENICO VACCA IN EPISODE 9, SEASON 7 OF ENTOURAGE HBO, AUGUST 29, 2010, 10:30PM

Domenico Vacca, plays himself in the next episode of Entourage on August 29 at 10:30pm on HBO.

Domenico Vacca has created the clothes of character Ari Gold played by Jeremy Piven in Entourage in many episodes in past seasons but this season Jeremy Piven, Domenico Vacca and costume designer Olivia Miles-Payne teamed up together to dress Ari head to toe exclusively, creating a chic, modern sartorial look and wardrobe for the super Hollywood agent.

The scene was filmed at the Domenico Vacca store on Rodeo Drive and besides Jeremy Piven, Perry Reeves and Domenico Vacca, also includes guest star Queen Latifah. “It was really fun to be part of Entourage not only with our clothes but with an appearance” – says Domenico Vacca – “the cast of the show is great and everybody was super nice.”

The scene finally reveals who makes the “sharp” wardrobe of Ari Gold since the scene between Jeremy Piven and Domenico Vacca is during a fitting at Vacca’s store when many things happen including Ari running across the street with an unfinished…suit!

Jeremy Piven/Ari Gold’s wardrobe created by Domenico Vacca includes handmade 2 and 3 button suits in the signature Domenico Vacca Italian “close to the body” fit in notch and peak lapels in different shades of blue and gray, 2 button semi spread collars handmade sea island shirts in stripes and checks, nine-fold ties, and brown and black bench made shoes.

“We wanted to stay away from the black suits, the dark shirts and solid dark ties worn by Hollywood agents for the last 20 years. Americans are ready for a more European/Italian style where they can have fun putting together suits, shirts and ties in a more creative, contemporary and chic way” – says Domenico Vacca – “the American man is becoming more and more knowledgeable about clothes and style, they now understand the differences in the fabrics, colors, in the making and the fit and most importantly how “everything” goes together to create a great look.”
