The excitement is building as fans eagerly await the highly anticipated reunion of Will Smith and DJ Jazzy Jeff at the upcoming A GRAMMY® Salute to 50 Years of Hip-Hop concert. Presented by the Recording Academy®, Jesse Collins Entertainment, and CBS, the live event will take place on November 8, 2023, at the YouTube Theater at Hollywood Park in Inglewood, California.
A GRAMMY Salute to 50 Years of Hip-Hop aims to celebrate the genre’s rich history and its incredible cultural impact on a global scale. The concert will bring together some of the biggest names in hip-hop to honor its profound influence over the past five decades.
The concert, which is being produced by Jesse Collins Entertainment, will feature performances from a lineup of legendary artists. Will Smith, known for his iconic role in “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air” and his successful music career as part of the duo DJ Jazzy Jeff & The Fresh Prince, will grace the stage alongside DJ Jazzy Jeff for a highly anticipated reunion performance.
Fans can expect to witness an unforgettable night filled with nostalgia and incredible music. The event is set to be a tribute to the genre’s pioneers who have shaped the landscape of hip-hop and paved the way for future generations.
Tickets for A GRAMMY Salute to 50 Years of Hip-Hop are now available to the public and can be purchased through Ticketmaster.com. The concert will kick off with doors opening at 6 p.m. PT, followed by the live performances starting at 7 p.m. PT.
For those unable to attend, the tribute special will be broadcasted on the CBS Television Network on December 10 from 8:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. ET/PT. It will also be available for streaming on Paramount+.
