Dining Out For Life South Florida

Care Resource is proud to host its sixth year of Dining Out For Lifeä (DOFL) in Southeast Florida on Thursday, April 28, 2011 with spokesperson, Executive Chef Paula DaSilva of 1500°, the farm-to-table eatery located in Miami Beach’s Eden Roc Renaissance. DOFL is a one-day international fundraiser, co-hosted by The Miami New Times, benefiting non-profit service agencies in over 55 metropolitan areas across the United States and Canada. On April 28th, thousands of supporters will dine together with friends, family members and coworkers in support of the fight against HIV/AIDS. Participating restaurants will donate a portion of their sales that night to HIV/AIDS organizations allowing for continued services and programs to families and individuals infected or affected by HIV/AIDS. For a full list of participating restaurants in South Florida, please visit www.diningoutforlife.com/miami/participating.

A number of South Florida restaurants participate in Dining Out For Life, offering diners a choice of a wide variety of cuisines. Funds collected through DOFL will allow Care Resource to continue providing HIV/AIDS primary healthcare, HIV prevention education, testing, clinical trials and comprehensive support services to over 15,000 clients affected by HIV/AIDS in Miami-Dade and Broward Counties. Care Resource is South Florida’s oldest and largest HIV/AIDS community service organization.
