Originally from Peru, Diego grew up with a guitar in his hands. As a teenager, he frequently appeared in “R con R”, one of the most watched Peruvian T.V. shows, in addition to his music. At 16, he made it official that his passion was music by getting second place on Idol Latin America, hosted in Peru.
Lover of poetry and writer himself, this promising talent is a sweetheart who remains real and welcomes everyone he meets with a warm smile. Diego sings in both English and Spanish: His voice has something of Maroon 5 on the one hand and Ricky Martin on the other hand. Very unique, interesting voice that can seduce a whole audience with romantic airs or make everyone dance with upbeat rhythms.
Over the past few months, Diego has played at many Miami locations such as the Viceroy, the Shore Club, the Eden Roc, Rockbar, Skyline and Cobacha. He is currentlty playing every Wednesday at Brix 46 on Brickell.
Diego can already count on several sponsors, including the clothing line IC Clothing and the website BuckMatch.com. He was recently featured on the cover of “Caras” magazine with a several pages article inside, in “Ocean Drive Magazine” and in the April 2010 “Revista Mas” issue.
