Desserts for Disaster Relief- China Grill, Asia de Cuba and Blue Door Fish

During the month of April, China Grill Management and Morgans Hotel Group restaurants have each designated a featured dessert and will donate 50% of its sales to the American Red Cross in support of relief efforts in communities affected by  the devastating earthquake and tsunami.

“As news of  everyday struggles from our family members who still live in Japan continue to emerge, we humbly ask our diners to help by joining us in the disaster relief efforts” plead CGM’s Chef Kazuhiko
Hashimoto (Tanuki Tavern, NY) and Chef Yuhi Fuhinaga ( Bar Basque, NY) who are spearheading this initiative.

In Miami Beach, the selected desserts include Mini Mexican Doughnuts served with Caramel Sauce from Asia de Cuba at Mondrian, Dolce de Leite , crispy crisp spring rolls, vanilla & old Jamaican Rhum sauce from Blue Door Fish at Delano; Basque, Trio of Crème Brulee from China Grill.  In Fort Lauderdale, The Great Wall, vanilla, chocolate & caramel ice cream with toasted meringue, fresh berries and whipped cream is China Grill at Hilton Ft Lauderdale Marina’s selection.
