Sundy House has unveiled its new menu, created by Executive Chef Lindsay Autry along with Pastry Chef Sarah Sipe. The new menu at the award-winning restaurant and boutique hotel located in Delray Beach, Florida, emphasizes fresh ingredients sourced from local farms, as well as spices and fruits from its tropical garden.
Chef Lindsay describes her cuisine as soulful, embracing Mediterranean flavors while blending in her southern roots. The new Sundy House menu reflects her dedication to sourcing from local farms, including Swank Farms in Loxahatchee where she serves as the resident chef.
The menu changes based on the seasonality of the local market. Sundy House is committed to using products that are sustainably farmed.
Dinner menu entrees include a variety of crisp and fresh starters, warm and soulful sides and delicious entrees. Crispy whole branzini with grapefruit charmoula, roasted bone marrow and local Florida fish are some of the available choices. Dinner is served Tuesday through Sunday from 6 to 9 p.m.
Lunch offerings include a variety of salads, including a Southern Cobb Salad, as well as slow and savory items such as chimichurri grilled cobia, roasted half chicken with lemony orzo. Sundy House lunch is served Tuesday-Saturday from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Sundy House’s famed happy hour offers a variety of small plates and cocktails featuring an exclusive wine list. The stunning bar opens Tuesday-Sunday at 5 p.m. with live entertainment on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm
Pastry chef Sarah Sipe has created a dessert menu that reflects the seasonality and freshness of the ala carte menu. Sweet offerings include a grilled corn pound cake with blackberries and candied almonds, a decadent dark chocolate and orange “dreamsicle,” as well as an artisan cheese plate.
Sundy House’s brunch is consistently rated one of the best in South Florida. It is served on Sunday’s from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
