WHAT:           Under the name Dayglow, Texas-based singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalistSloan Struble creates catchy, effervescent, guitar-based indie pop. The dearth of musical collaborators in his hometown eventually led him to learn multiple instruments, and throughout his teenage years, he recorded music by himself in his bedroom, taking influence from a variety of artists from Phoenix to James Taylor. His home-recorded, self-released 2018 debut, Fuzzybrain, went viral, earning him a spot at Austin City Limits Music Festival, a label reissue, and plenty of indie buzz. Bolstered by the catchy single, “Can I Call You Tonight?,” the record began picking up steam amid the burgeoning bedroom pop community and streaming platforms, where it amassed millions of plays. His music career began taking off with appearances at SXSW as well as a tour offer with popular indie band COIN.
