“We are making Auction History on Miami Beach with both live and online components creating a worldwide event for the fine art and collectibles markets,” states Carlo Harris, non-executive Chairman & Director of Auctioneering for Red Carpet AE.  “We can guarantee never before seen opening bids on world famous masters like Dali, Warhol, Kaufman, Wesselman, Agam, Rockwell, Mel Ramos, Erte, Pino and, for one night only, exclusive bidding on rare works by today’s icons such as Takashi Murakami, Michael Godard, Romero Britto, Peter Lik, Tomasz Rut, Peter Max, Richard Johnson, Nechita and more.”

Red Carpet Auction Events is the leader worldwide in networked auctioneers and demystifying the auction business so as to broaden the market and create new platforms for the industry.  They created the world’s first Internet-based collectors community and now lead the way in virtual auction strategies with consumer transparency and high energy “edu-tainment” auction events.  “The Company always felt that their business was also to educate and entertain, not just sell.” says Harris.

“The Company’s continuous research and development forges advanced technology platforms to enable virtual networks, streamed media and market convergence in order to enrich collectors and sellers in real-time,”  states Harris.  “We provide consumers with transparency and easy to grasp information, enabling collectors of all demographics to make smarter and more conveniently informed buying decisions.  And now with our alliance with Proxibid, we can reach an even larger worldwide market.”

To that direction, Red Carpet Auction Events created the “Convergence of the Arts” event, a major production that will be video streamed worldwide on the web.  Not only can someone attend, but they can indulge in rare works, receive background information and bid online as well.  An extraordinary collection of internationally awarded & world acclaimed artists will take the stage during this Red Carpet event.  Online bidders will have the opportunity to bid against those in the live audience for rare originals, select embellished works and small edition size limited editions as well as entire suites of film, music and sports memorabilia from Harrods of London and more.  Additionally a large portion of the proceeds from the auction will be donated to major charities and non-profits including the Miami Children’s Museum, The Miami Humane Society and Lighthouse Church. All those in attendance and online will also receive raffle tickets for a chance at winning $30,000 in art, VIP cruises or resort holidays and other prizes.
