Concert Reviews: OneRepublic at Hard Rock Live at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood

The Hard Rock Live at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood was packed with fans of the multi-platinum, Grammy-nominated band, OneRepublic. The band’s frontman, Ryan Tedder, delivered an electrifying performance that had the crowd bouncing and singing along.

OneRepublic, the band, is composed of lead vocalist Ryan Tedder, guitarists Zach Filkins and Drew Brown, keys Brian Willett, bassist and cellist Brent Kutzle, and drummer Eddie Fisher. They have been entertaining audiences with their music since 2007.

The show kicked off with the band’s hit song, “Counting Stars,” which set the tone for what would be an unforgettable night. Tedder’s vocal prowess was on full display as he seamlessly transitioned between the band’s various hits, including “Apologize,” “Secrets,” and “Good Life.”

But it wasn’t just Tedder who stole the show. OneRepublic’s talented musicians kept the energy high throughout the night, with Drew Brown’s impressive guitar solos and Brent Kutzle’s mastery of the cello adding unique elements to the performance.

With their catchy lyrics and upbeat music, OneRepublic has captured the hearts of fans worldwide. It’s no surprise that their new single “I Ain’t Worried” is already making waves in the music industry. The song was featured in the movie “Top Gun: Maverick” and has been well received by fans across the globe.

The Grammy nominated group followed acts Jax and Bebe Rexha who warmed up the crowd for an electrifying performance. At various moments and in between songs, lead vocalist Ryan Tedder reminded the audience of his long list of accomplishments and credits. Some of his collaboration includes The Jonas Brothers among others.

One of the highlights of the night came when Tedder performed a stripped-down rendition of “Stop and Stare,” accompanied only by his piano. The vulnerable, intimate performance brought the audience to a hush, showcasing Tedder’s raw talent and emotive delivery.

As the night drew to a close, the band closed out with their latest single, “Run.” It’s clear that OneRepublic’s unique sound and infectious energy have cemented them as one of the top acts in pop music today.

The American pop rock band continues to dominate with their latest album “Human.” Released in august 2021, the album features a number of hit singles such as “Someday,” “Run,” and “Better Days,” collectively earning over 2.5 billion global streams. With previous albums producing chart-topping hits such as “Apologize” and “Counting Stars.” With five billion streams on Spotify alone, OneRepublic shows no signs of slowing down anytime soon. And their performance during Elvis Duran’s Spring Break mash up reminded us of why the groups success extends beyond just their latest release, with previous albums producing chart-topping hits such as “Apologize” and “Counting Stars.”

If you haven’t caught OneRepublic live yet, be sure to keep an eye out for their next stop – you won’t want to miss it.
