Concert Reviews: Jax at Hard Rock Live at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood

Last night, music fans flocked to the Seminole Hard Rock Hollywood to see rising star Jax perform live. The concert was an absolute treat for attendees.

Though I’m not a “90s Kids,” I found myself jamming to the beats of Jax’s breakout song. Dressed in baggy cargo pants and graphic tee, the pop artist’s stage presence is non typical of today’s pop entertainers. She was a rebel with a cause. She wanted everyone to know that she does not bow to societal pressures. And echoed to her fans through songs and spoken words, to not be blinded by the worldly distractions and peer pressures. She encouraged self love and acceptance.

With her infectious pop sound and powerhouse vocals Jax kicked off the night with her hit single “La La Land,” Throughout the concert, she performed fan favorites like “Like My Father” and “Ring Pop,” showcasing her versatility as an artist.

The “La La Land” singer was a light of inspiration to concert goers. She was applauded for celebrating her friend who had battled with breast cancer and is now in recovery. In a surprise move, after Jax’s introduction, she appeared on stage topless exposing the scars from her struggles which left her boobless.

She performed fan favorites like “Like My Father,” “Teenage Dirtbag,” “Victoria’s Secret” and “Ring Pop,” showcasing her versatility as an artist and proving to be a great fit for the Elvis Duran’s Spring Break mashup.
