Comedians Howie Mandel and Nick Cannon to Co-Headline at Hard Rock Live on Friday, Sept. 23

HOWIE MANDELSuperstar comedians Howie Mandel and Nick Cannon will co-headline at Hard Rock Live at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Friday, Sept. 23, at 8 p.m. Tickets go on sale Friday, June 17, at 10 a.m. Fans will have access to presale tickets beginning Thursday, June 16, at 10 a.m. through Seminole Hard Rock Hollywood’s Facebook and Twitter pages.

Howie Mandel has remained a constant force in show business for more than 30 years. Mandel is the executive producer of many shows through his production company Alevy Productions, which has produced the series “Take It All” and “Howie Do It” for NBC, “Deal With It” for TBS and “Mobbed” for FOX, among others. He currently serves as a judge on NBC’s hit summer talent competition series, “America’s Got Talent,” now in its 11th season with this being Mandel’s seventh season on the series. Previously, Mandel received an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Host for a Reality or Reality-Competition Program for “Deal or No Deal” and an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Game Show Host for the syndicated version of the show.

Mandel’s career has encompassed all aspects of the entertainment spectrum, including television, film and stage. From his work on the Emmy-award winning “St. Elsewhere” to the international animated children’s series “Bobby’s World,” Mandel has become a mainstay of the American comedy scene. In 2009, Howie added another title to his resume when he released his frank, funny, no-holds- barred memoir “Here’s the Deal: Don’t Touch Me.” The memoir that revealed his ongoing struggle with OCD and ADHD and how it has shaped his life and career made the New York Times Bestseller list on its first week and remained on the list for several consecutive weeks.

Mandel has done countless comedy specials both on cable and network television. He has also hosted his own syndicated talk show, “The Howie Mandel Show” and continues to be a mainstay on the talk-show circuit.

For more than 20 years, the multi-faceted Nick Cannon has entertained audiences on stage, television and film. As a comedian, TV executive producer and host, actor, writer, director, DJ, entrepreneur, philanthropist and children’s book author, Cannon continues to take the industry by storm.

 

Cannon landed his first television gig as a series regular and writer on Nickelodeon’s long-running hit series “All That,” making him the youngest staff writer in television history. This path culminated in the creation of “The Nick Cannon Show,” which he starred in, directed and executive produced. His television success continued as the creator, producer and host of the highly successful MTV show, “Wild ‘N Out,” which returns for its eighth season this summer. He recently completed a cross country tour with some “Wild ‘N Out” comics and improvisers and documented the experience on “Wild ‘N On Tour” on MTV2. Cannon is also the host of NBC’s “America’s Got Talent” and “Caught on Camera with Nick Cannon.”

 

Cannon made his first appearance on the big screen alongside Will Smith in “Men in Black II.” Other film credits include “Drumline” and “Bobby.” He recently wrote, directed and produced his first studio film “School Dance” and produced the sequel to “Drumline” titled “Drumline: A New Beat.” He has also inked a multi-year first look production deal with NBC Universal to develop scripted and unscripted fare for the network and is currently in production on the reboot of “Lifestyles of the Rich & Famous.” Cannon was most recently seen in Roadside/Amazon Studios’ critically acclaimed film “Chi-Raq,” directed by Spike Lee. Cannon stars as the title character and also co-wrote and performs the opening song.

 

Through his highly successful multi-media company NCredible Entertainment, Cannon produces TV and film projects, including Nickelodeon’s “Make It Pop,” “HALO Awards,” “TeenNick Top 10” and “React To That.” NCredible Entertainment’s other entities include a line of consumer products. Cannon was recently named Chief Creative Officer of RadioShack, where he will play an active role in the development of their exclusive products, as well as help to further transform the retailer into the must-visit electronics destination. Cannon is also the CEO of the teen magazine “Celebrity High.”

 

Cannon has always made the time to use his resources and his voice as a philanthropist to give back to the community and those in need, working with nationally recognized organizations such as Feeding America, Boys and Girls Club, Do Something, Toys for Tots, Stomp Out Bullying, Lupus Foundation of America and The National Kidney Foundation. He is also an active member on the Board of Directors of New York’s St. Mary’s Children’s Hospital and runs his own Nicholas Scott Cannon Foundation.
