Clarence Clemons and The Temple of Soul Set to Funkify Paradise Live

Legendary saxophonist Clarence Clemons and The Temple of Soul are set to funkify Paradise Live at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino on January 11, 2011 at 8 p.m. Tickets are on sale, now.

For more than three decades, sax man Clarence Clemons, a.k.a. “The Big Man,” has been an integral part of Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band, arguably one of the most renowned and respected rock and roll bands in the world. In addition to the E Street Band, Clemons has lent his golden expertise to revered acts such as the Grateful Dead, Ringo Starr’s All Starr Band, Aretha Franklin, Alvin Lee and Roy Orbison, among countless others.

A solo artist and producer in his own right, Clemons has released albums including Hero, featuring the hit duet with Jackson Browne, “You’re a Friend of Mine,” the spiritual Peacemaker and Live in Asbury Park Volumes I & II.

With Temple of Soul. Clemons welcomes Narada Michael Walden on drums and vocals, T.M. Stevens on bass and vocals and Vernon Ice Black on guitar and vocals.

Narada Michael Walden has the distinguished honor of being among Billboard’s Top Ten most successful producers of all times with three Grammys and an Emmy to his credit.  The multi-talented musician has had 56 #1 hit songs on the charts featuring the greatest singers of all time.

T.M. Stevens has performed with James Brown and Joe Cocker lending a funk-driven bass riff to some of the industry’s most popular hits.

Vernon Ice Black’s distinctive guitar sound has raised the profile of timeless hits by Herbie Hancock, Santana and Willie Nelson.

Temple of Soul’s latest album is Brothers in Arms, a rhythmic and groove-inspired album that draws influences from Jimi Hendrix, Mother’s Finest, Sly and the Family Stone and Barry White.
