Through its philanthropic “BankAtlantic Performs Magic For Kids” program, BankAtlantic donated 120 “Disney on Ice: 100 Years of Magic” tickets to 7 different local children’s charities, schools and non-profit organizations when the show appeared at the BankAtlantic Center in Sunrise, FL, from September 15 through September 18, 2011. Pictured in the two attached photos are children from Tomorrow’s Rainbow, Inc. and Natalie Gonzalez from Jessica June Children’s Cancer Foundation when they attended “Disney on Ice” performances (photo captions are below). Tomorrow’s Rainbow is a special place for children that have experienced the death of a loved one. By incorporating miniature horse interactions with therapeutic play areas and facilitated peer support, children are given the tools necessary to take their own personal grief journey in a way that is meaningful to them. Jessica June Children’s Cancer Foundation provides emergency financial assistance for children fighting cancer to ensure access to basic human necessities. Additionally, the Jessica June Children’s Cancer Foundation advocates for and raises awareness of childhood cancer.
