Chef Mark Militello Brings Revamped Menu to 75 Main in Delray

Famed South Florida restaurateur Chef Mark Militello is raising the bar at 75 Main in Delray Beach developing an exciting new menu for the popular Atlantic Avenue eatery.   Owner Zach Erdem opened 75 Main last year as a sister restaurant to his renowned eatery in Southampton, New York.

James Beard Award-winning chef Mark Militello is often credited with putting South Florida on America’s culinary map.  Militello is recognized for creating contemporary American cuisine that has Italian, Asian and Caribbean influences.

Militello opened his first restaurant – Mark’s Place – in North Miami Beach, Fla., in 1988. It earned rave reviews and just two years later, Food & Wine named him one of the “10 Best Chefs in America.” In the ensuing years, he operated four other namesake restaurants in South Florida: Mark’s Las Olas in Fort Lauderdale, Mark’s Mizner Park in Boca Raton, Mark’s South Beach on Miami Beach and Mark’s CityPlace in West Palm Beach.

Chef Mark currently is a principal in Syntuitive MJM Partnership LLC, a consultancy formed by chefs Stephan Juliusburger and Mark Militello providing strategic thinking and concept delivery. With decades of operations experience at the highest level in restaurants and hotels, they have delivered assignments around the US as well as Bermuda, The Bahamas, and Argentina.

The new menu at 75 Main features lunch, brunch and dinner.  The appetizer options range from shishito peppers, stuffed dates, and local Florida farmed clams, to tuna tacos, sweet corn polenta, Saganaki shrimp and grilled artichoke.

Entrée options include natural chicken, rigatoni Bolognese, black grouper, swordfish, pumpkin ravioli, saffron tagliatelle, diver scallops, prime burgers, steak au poivre and charcoaled center cut filet.
