American Friends of Shalva is proud to announce an exclusive Celebrity Chef Dinner featuring Michelin Star Celebrity Chef Gal Ben Moshe of Prism in Berlin, hosted by Chef Olivia Ostrow of Ostrow Brasserie. The dinner takes place on Tuesday, April 2nd 2024, at 4850 NW 2nd Ave, Miami, FL 33127.
Chef Gal Ben Moshe, renowned for his innovative culinary creations at Prism in Berlin, is the first Israeli chef to win a Michelin Star. His journey began at Orca in Tel Aviv and led him to prestigious kitchens in London, including Gordon Ramsay’s ‘Maze’ and ‘Marcus’ by Marcus Wareing, where he honed his craft. At Prism, Chef Ben Moshe’s cuisine blends contemporary and creative techniques with historic Eastern Arabic flavors, offering diners a taste of his home and true sense of occasion.
Chef Olivia Ostrow, owner of Ostrow Brasserie, brings her rich French culinary heritage and expertise to this unique dining experience. Chef Olivia’s culinary journey began in her native France, where she learned traditional techniques and was mentored by the chef to Jacques Chirac, the former President of France. The evening will not only be a culinary experience but also a meaningful opportunity to support Camp Shalva, a cause close to both chefs’ hearts. Camp Shalva, the Israel Association for the Care and Inclusion of Persons with Disabilities, provides comprehensive services and support to thousands of people with disabilities and their families.
All proceeds for this evening’s event will benefit Camp Shalva, providing essential support to children with disabilities and their families.
