Celebrate the Lunar New Year with Asia’s top superstars – Vietnamese-American chart toppers Nguyen Hung, Nguyen Hong Nhung, Phuong Hong Que, Andy Quach and Kieu Trinh -who will be performing in the ballroom at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino on Saturday, February 1, 2014 at 9 p.m. Tickets are $39* and will be available for purchase at all Ticketmaster outlets and at the ballroom day of show.

The two-and-a-half hour showcase will entertain guests with a variety of Vietnamese and English modern and traditional music.

Nguyen Hung
Artist Nguyen Hung has brought a new standard to the Vietnamese music video industry. He has combined his talent as a professional dancer/choreographer and singer during his many appearances for Thuy Nga Productions. At the age of 17, Nguyen Hung won a gold medal in a dance competition sponsored by Trang Den newspaper. While touring in Canada he was introduced to singer Phuong Hong Que who then introduced him to the To Thuy, owner and founder world renowned Vietnamese production “Paris by Night.” His songs are influenced by songwriter Lam Phuong, his rendition of “Lam” has made him one of the top rising star male artists in the Vietnamese music industry.

Nguyen Hong Nhung
Born in Hanoi, Vietnam, Nhung knew she wanted to be a singer at an early age. In 1989 she won the award for best female vocal artist; an honor that she would carry with her for many years. After moving with her family to Southern California, she had her vision focused on making it into one of the top Vietnamese productions. In 2004, Nhung accomplished her goal by joining Asia productions as one of its top performers. Nhung’s stardom got a boost with the song “Sac Mau” written by Tran Tien. Her popularity continues to grow in the entertainment industry making her a role model and positive influence to other women artists following in her footsteps.

Phuong Hong Que
Beginning her career as a child star, Phuong Hong Que produced a few modestly successful singles from 1969 through the mid ‘70s. She made her first appearance on Thuy Nga Productions’ “Paris by Night 82” showcasing her distinctive soprano voice. After performing her hit “Tron tinh voi nguoi,” Phuong Hong Que established herself as of Vietnam’s top country singers. Known for her charm both on-stage and off, her musical approach has often been referred to as roots-based country. Always bedecked in a traditional Vietnamese “ao dai,” this music industry pioneer never fails to impress.

Andy Quach
Andy Quach is a Vietnamese-Chinese singer, songwriter and entertainer. He taught himself to dance at a young age and was involved in his church choir and several local talent shows. Born in Saigon, Vietnam, Quach moved with his family to the United States shortly after the birth of his younger brother. Quach moved to Southern California where he pursued a career in the Vietnamese entertainment industry. Starting out as a background dancer for Van Son Production, Quach soon found himself singing on the main stage as a solo artist. He gained fame in the late 1990s and early 2000s as a teen heartthrob after performing a duet pop song “Ngay em di.” Currently, he is embracing a more mature sound as evidenced on his release, a wedding-inspired album entitled “Forever Love.”

Kieu Trinh
A new and upcoming artist, Kieu Trinh mesmerizes her audience with an angelic voice. As a finalist on The Voice Vietnam, she captured the audience’s attention covering popular songs made famous by female Vietnamese artists. Kieu Trinh possesses the vocal range of a soprano which has been described as dynamic, robust and emotive. She is currently touring the U.S and singing hits that will keep audiences dancing all night long.
