Celebrate International Dark Sky Week at the Library

Turn down the lights and enjoy the beauty of the night sky! Join us for a series of community events celebrating International Dark Sky Week, which runs from April 15 – 22 during Earth Month. Use telescopes to take a closer look at the stars above, engage with a NASA Solar System Ambassador, listen to stories and more.

During International Dark Sky Week, residents are encouraged to learn about the consequences of light pollution, which blocks our view of the stars and planets, disrupts wildlife and impacts human health. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to discover the wonders of the night sky and the importance of preserving it.
