Celebrity DJ Duo Elijah Wood + Zach Cowie of Wooden Wisdom officially kicked off Art Basel last week at Brickell City Centre. The dynamic duo made a special performance atBrickell City Centre, Swire Properties’ $1.05 billion development, 3 block construction site that was transformed into art-inspired oasis for one night only.

Mostly performing globally these days, they were well received in Miami and a huge hit amongst the 500+ guests, including Miami’s VIPs, art aficionados and Swire execs. The DJ duo’s vinyl-only paradise garage sounds set the vibe for the evening and had guests swarming to the DJ booth for photo opps with Elijah and Zach .

Elijah explained that they just love the whole Miami scene and excited to be part of their first ever Art Basel Miami. He said they look forward to performing more in the Magic City this January.

The private event also featured the U.S. debut of British Pop artist Allen Jones’ 6 ton, 20-ft-tall sculpture “Dancers” and the inaugural lighting of the 150,000 SQ-FT CLIMATE RIBBON™.
