17th Annual Caribbean Festival

17th caribbean festivalThe late, Cedella Marley Booker, “Mama Marley”, was the mother of the Legendary Bob Marley. Cedella passed away in 2008 in Miami, Florida.

Before her death she was known as the backbone to the Marley’s, the one who kept the family together.  Cedella was very instrumental in keeping the Marley’s name respected and the legacy growing. She would often participate in festivities celebrating the memories of Bob, she also authored two biographies of Bob Marley.

On February 27, 2010, the Marley’s will continue to “keep the flame”, in the 17th Annual Caribbean Festival, a tribute to Cedella Marley Booker.
