Cantina Laredo and III Forks Hallandale to host TEQUILA CHOPPED The Tequila Cocktail Contest

SONY DSCTwo restaurants in The Village at Gulfstream Park – III Forks Prime Steakhouse (iiiforks.com) and Cantina Laredo (cantinalaredo.com) – will be hosting TEQUILA CHOPPED The Tequila Cocktail Contest on Thursday May 29th at 7p.m. at 501 Silks Run in Hallandale Beach.  The contest will showcase contestants competing live for their shot at becoming the “2014 Cocktail Master.”

Contestants will be given a basket of mystery ingredients and will be tasked with creating a specialty cocktail in a limited amount of time. The tequila creations will then be judged by a select panel of South Floridian leaders in cuisine, wine and spirits, hospitality, business and philanthropy. The judges will select one drink to be crowned the Master Cocktail. TEQUILA CHOPPED also includes a People’s Choice winner, and attendees will have a chance to win fabulous drawing prizes. The reigning TEQUILA CHOPPED champion, Lou Fuoco – Managing Partner at Fuoco Group, will be back to defend his 2013 Palm Beach title.  Trent Aric, Local 10’s Chief Meteorologist, will be a celebrity bartender.

 

This exciting event will benefit The Buoniconti Fund to Cure Paralysis, the fundraising arm of The Miami Project to Cure Paralysis.
