On March 26, 2011 at 8:30 pm, the lights will go off at Acqua, the signature restaurant at Four Seasons Hotel Miami, as part of Earth Hour celebrations taking place around the world. The restaurant will also offer a three-course, candlelight meal prepared with organic and sustainable ingredients for $42. A selection of wines produced by environmentally conscious growers will be available to complement the meal.
Diners who enjoy the special menu will receive a gift of a soy-based, essential oil scented candle by Healing Hunny. The candle, which is packed in a beautiful recycled jar, is free of all artificial ingredients.
Earth Hour 2011 is a global sustainability movement organized by the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) with more than 50 million people across 35 countries making a statement against climate change.
A portion of the sale from the special meal will be donated to the WWF Global Conservation
