CALLING SOUTH FLORIDA’S YOUTH TO EXERC-ICE The Institute for Clinical Exercise launches Spring session at Trump International

To train, educate and motivate takes an all-star team of specialists. The Institute for Clinical Exercise (ICE) Youth Wellness Center, a unique afterschool program aimed at children ages 8-18, invites South Florida’s youth to lighten up through a combination of physical activities and education designed to build and maintain lifelong healthy habits.  Through the use of qualified exercise physiologists, licensed nutritionists and licensed master practitioners in NLP/life coaching ICE provides youth with a rewarding experience that will motivate them to live healthier lives.

Located in the exclusive enclave of Sunny Isles Beach on the lower pool deck of the Trump International Beach Resort, the 10-week Spring session will commence on Monday, March 21 and consist of sessions taking place Monday through Friday from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. The two-hour sessions will incorporate programs such as life coaching, personal training, martial arts and education on nutrition.

“Our goal is to encourage youth to develop healthy habits that will improve the overall quality of their lives and prevent youth obesity, diabetes and depression in our society,” said Joey Eida, President of the Institute for Clinical Exercise. “By guiding youth to eat properly and implementing an active routine, the 10-week program aims to create lasting lifestyle changes.”

At ICE Youth Wellness Center, students learn sensible strength training that promotes the building of muscle and burning of fat and how to exercise properly through activities that meet their physiological needs and match their personal activity levels.  The program additionally shares a variety of techniques to make meals healthy, fun and delicious while teaching students balance and portion control.

A confidential program, ICE Youth Wellness Center enables students to open up about any issues they are facing, such as bullying or food addiction, and provides them with life coaching to positively motivate them into a state of self-belief.  The combination of physical activities and education changes mindsets and empowers students to face any challenges that come their way in the future.
