When the Miami HEAT debut their new “Legacy” uniform campaign in early December, HEAT fans will take their rightful place: front and center. The “Legacy” uniform campaign recognizes the fact that HEAT fans not only originated the practice of the color-themed Playoff campaigns, they have also taken ownership of the concept unlike fans in any other market. Starting with “Back in Black” in 2004, transitioning to “The Red Zone” in 2005 and finding championship glory with “White Hot” in 2006, HEAT fans have embraced their role when the games matter most.
Following the conclusion of the HEAT “Red, White and Pink” Game on Thursday, October 15, the HEAT will conduct a photo and video shoot to support the “Legacy” uniform campaign. Fans interested in participating in the video shoot must have a ticket for the Red, White and Pink Game. To access tickets for the Red, White and Pink Game, fans will be required to download the new Miami HEAT App in order to purchase a ticket. Tickets cost $1.00 each with proceeds benefitting Miami Cancer Institute. Tickets will not be available at Ticketmaster.com.
Fans should be prepared to remain inside the Arena after the Red, White & Pink Game to participate in the photo / video shoot. Additionally, participants will receive a free HEAT t-shirt. Fan imagery captured during the photo / video shoot will be incorporated into promotional materials and used throughout the 2015-16 season.
The HEAT Red, White & Pink Game presented by Baptist Health Breast Center at Miami Cancer Institute will take place on Thursday, October 15th beginning at 7:00 p.m. at AmericanAirlines Arena and is an open scrimmage that will include the current 2015-16 roster. Doors open at 6:00 p.m. The first 5,000 HEAT fans in attendance will receive a free HEAT Red, White & Pink Game t-shirt.
The Red, White & Pink Game will resemble a regular NBA game with four quarters and a halftime, and will also feature many elements of the HEAT Experience including the national anthem, as well as performances by the Miami HEAT Dancers, Burnie and the Xtreme Team. HEAT fans will get a close-up look at the 2015-16 Miami HEAT team. Select concession stands as well as The Miami HEAT Store will be open for business.
