A popular Bay Harbor Islands restaurant since 1994, Caffe Da Vinci has opened its recently renovated restaurant for breakfast. Locals and tourists alike can watch the day begin on Kane Concourse at outdoor tables or enjoy the intimate dining room from 8:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.
The breakfast menu represents European and American options with a nod toward South American’ favorites. For diners who like to start the day with a sweet treat, freshly-baked Croissants ($2), Chocolate Croissants and French Toast ($6) will satisfy that craving. South-of-the border classics such as Beef or Chicken Empanadas ($2) and the Miga Sandwich ($2) add some Miami spice to breakfast.
Omelets can be custom-created with one ingredient ($6.50), two ingredients ($8) or three ingredients ($10) with a variety of cheeses (mozzarella, provolone or Swiss), vegetables (spinach, mushrooms, onions and tomatoes) and meats (ham, turkey ham and apple-wood smoked bacon). Big appetites are rewarded with the American Breakfast ($8) of two eggs, bacon, toast, a glass of freshly-squeezed orange juice and coffee. Lighter breakfasts include the Quiche of the Day ($8) and the Smoked Salmon Platter or Sandwich served with cream cheese and Spanish capers ($12).
