Café Prima Pasta will not partake in the official Miami Spice festivities this year. However, the legendary restaurant on Miami Beach will debut its own Spice spin-off menu from August 1st through September 30th.
The Miami Prima Menu will showcase a special three-course meal for $39, which includes a complimentary Bellini upon arrival and Limoncello parting gift.
Begin your Italian feast with a choice of three appetizers including Carpaccio Di Manzo, thin slices of filet mingnon sprinkled with imported extra virgin olive oil, zesty lemon and robust parmesan cheese; Eggplant Rollatini, sliced eggplant rolled with ricotta, artisanal cheeses served with a mixed green salad and marinara sauce; Carpaccio Di Salmone, slices of salmon drizzled with olive oil, lemon and capers, served on a bed of arugula; or Baby Exotic Salad, mixed greens, Mozzarella di Bufala, hearts of palm and artichokes served with balsamic dressing.
Choose from a main course of Veal Pizzaiola, tender veal scallopine with peppers, onions, mushrooms, olives and fresh tomato in a white wine sauce with seasonal vegetables; Lobster Ravioli, homemade pasta stuffed with lobster meat in a creamy saffron sauce; Veggie Ravioli, homemade pasta stuffed with cheese and asparagus with Pomodoro sauce; or Fish of the Day, fresh catch of the day baked with tomatoes, capers, onions, kalamata olives and served with mixed vegetables.
Sweet endings include a choice of Tiramisu, delicate ladyfingers layered between mascarpone cheese or Tartufo Blanco, homemade vanilla Italian ice cream.
For the last two decades the neighborhood restaurant made celebrities such as Matt Damon, Lenny Kravitz and Dwayne Wade regulars of the family owned and operated restaurant; and this Father’s Day, the Cea family invites guests to indulge in authentic Italian gastronomies and become a part of the Prima family, too.
