Boys & Girls Clubs of Miami-Dade Host Second Networker at Calamari in Coconut Grove

Club Blue Miami, the new young professionals committee for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Miami-Dade, recently hosted their second networking event at Calamari in Coconut Grove. The group main purpose is to create awareness of Boys & Girls Clubs of Miami-Dade and help fundraiser for Club programs, while attracting Miami-Dade’s most movitaved young professionals under the age of 45.

Guests were able to enjoy an evening of networking and cocktails, while raising funds for the organization. Event sponsors included: Calamari Restaurant, Chivas, Republic National Distributing Co. and Sugar Mama Cupcakes.

“Club Blue Miami continues its efforts to attract Miami-Dade’s most motivated, energetic young professionals, who we believe will become the community’s future leaders,” said Alex Rodriguez-Roig, Executive Director of Boys & Girls Clubs of Miami-Dade.

All proceeds raised by Club Blue Miami will benefit Boys & Girls Clubs of Miami-Dade. With numerous events planned throughout the year, Club Blue Miami hopes to continue to attract young professionals, ages 21 through 45. Membership opportunities start at $150.
